Trade Show Announcement: Werner Schmid at Blechexpo 2023

10.10.2023

As early as October 2021, the international trade fair Blechexpo returned from its COVID-19 hiatus for its 15th edition. More than 950 exhibitors from across Europe were able to showcase their products across 108,000 square meters. Werner Schmid was also in attendance—under strict COVID-19 restrictions, of course. Despite these limitations, we were happy to be able to reconnect in person with customers, suppliers, and other partners.

We are all the more delighted that, in November 2023, we will finally be able to participate in an in-person trade show again without pandemic restrictions. We’re clearly not the only ones feeling this way: For the upcoming edition of Blechexpo and its sister trade show, Schweisstec, the trade show organizer reports nine fully booked halls, two of which are dedicated exclusively to stamping and forming technology. An established trade show like Blechexpo is a great opportunity for us to engage with both our existing and potential new partners and to showcase our expertise in stamping and forming technology, as well as in design and toolmaking, to a broad audience of industry professionals.

From design and toolmaking, through prototyping on our own presses, to series production and post-processing of highly complex formed parts, we offer the entire lifecycle of components from a single source. Thanks to our state-of-the-art plastics manufacturing facility at the same location, we can also offer high-quality metal-plastic hybrid assemblies. Providing expert consultation throughout all phases of the lifecycle—including the development phase—is a matter of course for us.

In addition, we are advancing the state of the art through research projects. Our doctoral candidate, Janosch Günzel, is scheduled to present the results of one of these projects on November 7 at 1:20 p.m. in the trade show forum under the title “Multi-stage Forming of High-Strength Aluminum Alloys.” We invite you to take this opportunity to learn about the findings from this exciting field of research during this presentation.

Or visit us at our booth No. 4223 in Hall 4 to learn more about our expertise in a one-on-one conversation.

We look forward to seeing you!
