Since its foundation in 1946, Werner Schmid GmbH has been successfully providing training in commercial and industrial professions in metalworking and plastics processing to its apprentices. Upon completion of their training, we strive to place our trainees in permanent positions and to give them the chance to develop their careers in our own company.
To the extent possible, further training to become a master craftsman or technician or acquire a similar qualification is supported; so is taking up a dual course of study. Many of our present-day managerial staff did traineeships at Werner Schmid and have developed their careers in the company.
There are also managers and CEOs in other companies in the district of Fulda who laid the foundation stones of their careers with a traineeship at Werner Schmid.
For more than 70 years, we have been committed to and successful with our traineeships – and will continue be in the future. Our qualified trainers equip young people to make a successful start to their professional careers.
