WS Anniversary Campaign Wins “German Brand Award”
09.06.2022Werner Schmid’s anniversary project has once again won a prestigious award: Today, Thursday, the company was named a “Winner” of the German Brand Award in the category “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Branded Activities During COVID-19.”
Alongside the German Design Award, the German Brand Award is one of Germany’s most well-known awards. Both awards are presented by the German Brand Institute and the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag.
With over 1,200 submissions, the German Brand Award is one of the most coveted prizes in the German business world and is intended to honor successful brands, brand management, and brand communication. Past winners have included Porsche, Eintracht Frankfurt, and PiCK UP! by Bahlsen; this year, in addition to Werner Schmid, a collaboration between BMW and the band Coldplay was among those honored as “Winners.”
