Work on the new plastics processing facility is progressing

The construction of our new plastics processing facility is a massive project that began back in 2018 with the purchase of the neighboring property. Planning for a comprehensive renovation of the warehouse complex began in late 2021.

The major construction work has now been completed, allowing us to obtain a “pre-completion occupancy permit” from the relevant building authority in December 2024. The only work still pending is on the electrical systems, the individual new offices, and the production infrastructure; for example, the new drying system, which will replace our old one, is currently under construction.

Despite these few remaining tasks, we have been moving into the newly renovated production facilities since the end of last year and have already begun using them for our plastics processing. While our old plastics processing facility, at approximately 1,400 m², had become too small to accommodate all of our machines, we can now finally bring all of them together under one roof in a facility twice that size.

In accordance with our quality management system, we contacted our plastics processing customers as early as 2024 to notify them of the relocation. Our goals are to ensure a completely seamless process for all customers, to maintain our usual quality standards even during the move, and to guarantee uninterrupted delivery capabilities. We expect that the final relocation of all machinery will take up nearly the entire year of 2025. This is due not only to the logistical challenges involved in relocating the machines, but also to the need to produce a buffer stock to ensure delivery capability during transport and the recommissioning of the machines.
